'Armide'

Alba, 1818, J.P. Vibert

Armide is very young; she just arrived on 2 May. I bought her because I wanted an example of something that was classed as an Alba to compare with other roses I've been finding around the county. She did come with a strong bud, which has been slowly opening in the almost two weeks since she arrived. Alas I had to be out of town when she finally flowered so I got no pictures.

I should probably pick up Alba Semi-Plena as well. Next time I dig beds...
