Walk Through The Garden, 2008previous rose ------- next rose
'Nightmoss'Talk about being "fashionably late;" 'Nightmoss' is a rose that seems dedicated to lateness in my garden.
She is always the very, very last to leaf out; I could almost hear her snickering when that late freeze came and while everyone else was unfurling leaves, 'Nightmoss' was showing very few signs of breaking dormancy.
Well, it's now the middle third of April and 'Nightmoss' is just, just starting to break. She catches up quick once she gets going (she finally unfurled some leaves on 29 April), and I expect a really good display from her this year.
I also have three six-month-old seedlings of Nightmoss x Fa's Marbled Moss in the garden!
